Casco Bay Web Design along with it's sister and main site at Rhinebeck.info is bringing two new plan options to the service.
First: Pro-Series Flash Designs: A combination of HTML/CSS/Java scripts and a design account on a webtop platform brings professional higher end design sites for businesses that need to show larger graphics and are seeking the wow look...Along with the best of all worlds we are making available logo designs and 2D 3D virtual covers that takes your new logo or current logo to a new dimension . Our Pro series Flash combos are 1 year designs that include full hosting and minor year round maintenance. Plans also include all consultation and photography at your business.
On top of all that....Pro-Series designs include a 60 second video of either a welcome message or a new product video at your store. If video's are not your deal...I will create a slide show and voice your info into it and then turn it into a movie. Very important to "humanize your web site", visitors want the info upfront..first couple page of your site. Large slow down sites, they will quickly by-pass and your left with alot of wasted pages.
PRO-SERIES FLASH COMBO SITES start at $ 575.00 ("starting" is roughly a 6 page site) and include everything mentioned above.
Second: One Time Only Designs:
Ok this is probably the norm in web design, but hasn't been our business plan practice because we like to keep our sites close by, promote them, host them and keep them cutting
edge year to year.
But some businesses just need a rolodex type of site where the info doesn't change, the site doesn't need monitoring, and the user can travel with the software.
Now straight up....the dirty little secret is ..a web designer creates a site, you get it burnt to a cd, you take it and go on your merry way, you host it for a year or so, then you want to make changes. Now you scout out for a web guy that is reasonable and knows what he or she is doing and he or she tells you, I don't have the software or the plug in licenses to use this design to edit without buying that software....THEN YOUR LEFT HOLDING THE BAG TRYING TO GET AT LEAST SOMETHING CHANGED IN THE HTML...
No thanks....I don't want to offer that as the only way I design sites.. BUT I am now going to offer 1 time designs, and give you free hosting for 1 year, with the minor maintenance included. These designs will run 2.5 times the rate as my yearly designed sites, and after the first year of free hosting and minor maintenance, you will be offered hosting here for $150 a year and any changes will be billed at the hourly (computer time only) $55.00hr.
For some this will work.... We design a site...you pay once....get 1 year hosting and minor maintenance to make sure the site is exactly what you want, then you don't have to worry about anything except the $150 yr hosting fee the second,third year etc.
By the way . Rhinebeck.info has been around since 2001, earlier years in Suffolk county NY, and now providing service in Dutchess Columbia NY and Southern Maine.
